Eaton Detroit TrueTrac for 1030 / 1031 Axles with optional tone rings

We offer these differentials with a machining service and tone ring so it will work with the factory speed sensor.   

It is important to select the correct number of teeth on the tone ring so the ring will be compatible with the speedometer in your car.   48 tooth is found on models with LH2.4 or ABS and earlier cars will have the 12 tooth.   Do not rely on these guidelines and check if you are unsure.   

This is a basic gear-based Torsen style differential that is maintenance-free, and great for daily drivers and performance street applications.

For units with the tone ring we recommend inspecting the gap between the ring and the sensor,   

For 12 tooth cars the spec is 0.85mm clearance +/- 0.35mm 

For 48 tooth cars the spec is 0.6mm clearance +0.2mm / - 0.3mm
